Melancholyric!
Melancholyric is music, poetry and insanity. In other words, melancholic fun, rainbow graveyards and a whole lot of rhymes. Led by lead sing/composer Lord Salvator Emorion, Melancholyric has one clear message:
"The Universe Is Poetry, Laugh At The Pain".
Also, you're a loser if you don't follow us.
Midnight Sun was our debut, filmed by the great Martimus, Midnight Sun speaks of distant ages and cold stars. It shows the connection we have with the dead, and the experience we have right before we die. Most of it was filmed in Nijmegen, Groesbeek and surrounding towns. These places, in the Netherlands are beautiful.
Tsunami Duet was a duet song with the marvelous french singer Ashaya, who had singing lessons from Lord Salvator. It speaks of the effects of a nuclear war, imagining a paper tiger (eastern metaphor) being set on fire. When a nuclear bomb drops, it causes a Tsunami. and it is the experience of one of the victims, describing it to the confused spirits in the aftermath.
Whilst the song can be interpreted as being about a relationship, the main focus was on a broader sensation of losing faith in love. This can happen due to death, trauma and other such miseries. It's a song about endurance, and how it is often our worst experiences which motivate us to do great things. It also contains a lesbian couple in the video, because why not. (Gay is okay).
